To introduce the underlying principles of the humanitarian sector and the realities of working in emergencies.
2. Personal Security and Communication
To enhance participants understanding of the principles of risk management with special emphasis on safety and security and to build their skills relating to personal and team security management.
RedR Hands on Disaster Relief Field Experience 2019

Venue : Jogjakarta, Indonesia

RedR Malaysia was represented by our RQM, Wan Effandi. The 2 weeks field trip (1-14 April 2019) was organised by RedR UK in Jogjakarta. It is intended to give participants authentic, practical and real experiences of field work that they can apply in humanitarian courses or jobs. Wan definitely gained marvelous experience!

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Emergencies (WASH) 2014
